[HIRING] Thumbnail Concept Strategist
We're hiring: Thumbnail Concept Strategist
Most people scroll past a video without knowing why they didn't click.
You already know why.
We're building YouTube channels in true crime, horror, and iceberg content — and we need the person who sees the thumbnail before the video even loads.
This isn't a design role. You read scripts. You find the tension. You decide what makes someone stop.
Then you hand off a crystal-clear storyboard and let the designer execute.
What you'll do:
→ Deliver 10+ approved thumbnail concepts per week
→ Mine every script for its most click-worthy moment
→ Pair powerful images with 3–4 word hooks (one word highlighted, zero wasted)
→ Hand off storyboards so clean the designer never has to guess
You're the one if:
→ You've criticized a thumbnail before you clicked a video
→ You understand CTR without needing it explained
→ You consume true crime, horror, or iceberg content naturally
→ Fast turnarounds don't rattle you — they motivate you
→ You don't need hand-holding. You need a brief and a deadline.
